1. Tuna & Crackers
Tuna is packed full of protein, vitamin D and omega-3. It’s a simple and tasty food to eat that you can mix with almost anything. Include some tuna in your snacking and you’ll get the vitamins and proteins that you need without you needing to even try. Include some whole wheat crackers with your tuna to add in some crunch. Tuna and crackers is a simple, but effective, snack.
2. Mozzarella Sticks
Cheese sticks and dips may have been an essential part of your lunchbox at school, but you don’t need to cast them aside now you’re an adult. Take some mozzarella sticks with you on the go to get a calcium and protein boost. Calcium will give your bones strength and protein whilst protein will keep your muscles strong.
3. Greek Yoghurt
Yogurt has a bad reputation for being full of fat, but there are plenty of different types of yogurt you can get to reduce your fat intake. 4. Pumpkin Seeds
Pumpkin seeds are an easy way to get some essential nutrients when you’re snacking. They’re small and light so are easily portable, whether you’re on the go or sat at your desk. Wash, dry and roast the pumpkin seeds for a crispy snack that’s full of fibre, protein and immune system boosting zinc.
5. Almonds
Almonds are the nuts that have most health gains for you. Full of healthy fats, vitamin E and antioxidants to boost your immune system, almonds should be your nuts of choice when you’re in a snacking mood. Get a pack of almonds and have them nearby for when a snack attack strikes!
